Non-profit claims that despite the state of the economy, people are still giving. Last week, as the "giving season" came to an end, charities kept up their year-end requests for donations.
It's unclear how much charitable giving actually occurred at the end of 2022 in light of some severe economic pressures, but Kerry Pedraza of the United Way of Clark, Champaign, and Madison Counties tells WYSO that so far, donations haven't decreased.
