The American Rescue Plan Act's funding was allocated to Easterseals

The ARPA contributes funding to a local nonprofit. The American Rescue Plan Act's funding was allocated to Easterseals.

Yesterday, the non-profit was chosen by the Vanderburgh County Commissioners, who gave them a $300,000 check.

Their choice was motivated by the Covid -19 pandemic's impact on declining sales, rising expenses, and an expanding demand for services.

In a statement posted to social media, Easterseals stated that the primary goal of this funding will be mental health.

Emergency grants are available through the American Rescue Plan of 2022 to aid severely affected small businesses in their pandemic recovery.
